This 4-day event celebrates the coming of the month of May, or in Irish, Bealtaine, which was a major holiday for the ancient Gaels. The festival is celebrates with plenty of traditional Irish music and other entertainment so you will not be short of craic during this celebration of spring and new life....

The St Patricks Day pageant upholds the traditions of all great carnivals which revel in undermining, if just one day, the boundaries of authority. Street festers, face painters, green revellers and masked impersonators join in maelee of Irish compatriots, form all over the world, who flock to the celebration.
The parade in led by Saint Patrick, Irelands emblem of Christianity, while the revellers that follow display equal respect for the mythological past and ancient pagan traditions....

This band was formed in 1990 and consists of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments which enable the band to perform in the musical genres of classical, jazz, blues, pop, marches and big band. The Brussels Concert Band was founded over a century before that and currently numbers some 50 musicians. These two bands have committed to collaborative events to promote international ties and a sense of musical community in Europe....

This 4 day event is the 2nd largest Choral Festival in the country. There will be all sorts of competitions, with mixed choirs, all male choirs, all female choirs and barbershop. The styles will include Madrigals, Gospel, Sacred and Folk singing....

The feis encompasses everything from verse speaking, to classical and traditional music and singing....

Traditional Weekend of concerts, Ceili, Street entertainment, competition in all traditional instruments, singing and comhra. All age groups....

Micheal Coleman is well-known fiddle player in the community and his legacy to Irish music worthy of remembrance. The programme includes a traditional concert, junior feis, Céilí, pub sessions and plenty of other street entertainment....

This annual Warriors run is not for the faint of heart as the arduous 10 mile run from the beach front at Strandhill to the top of Knocknarea mountain and back again. This event attracts participants from all over the world and there will also be some fun events for the kids and plenty of street entertainment as well....
